Today, Michael Cavlan, candidate for US Senate from Minnesota, declared his support for Senator Russ Feingold’s, Senate Resolution to censure the President. Cavlan said, “I totally support the Resolution, and if I were in Sen. Dayton’s seat, would stand shoulder to shoulder with Senator Feingold. I cannot believe the utter cowardice of the leaders of the Democratic Party, especially those in the Senate, who refuse to join Senator Feingold in his perfectly justified motion for censure of the President by the Senate.”
Mr. Cavlan expressed his belief that passing this resolution would have been a good beginning to bring an end to the madness of the current administration and institute policies for the good of the people of Minnesota, the United States and World. “For other Senate Candidates to do otherwise, proves that they will not stand up for Citizen rights, regardless of the situation. Not the Executive Branch of the government, Lobbyists, or Party Leaders should deter a Senator from defense the Constitution.”
